BBC Sounds is all about bringing together different audio content into one experience and we wanted to capture this in the Logo, unifying different elements into one seamless and harmonious whole. It was important for this to feel like more than another BBC product - it needed to feel like an iconic modern brand in order to attract a new generation of listeners.
My task was to animate the icon Logo for the app-sign in screen. This shorthand is the most concise version of the Logo. The idea was to reveal the S Logo by a dramatic brush motion to represent the brand language of the BBC's human touch. It's expressive, creative and deeply personal.
